EXPONOR is located within the Metropolitan Area of Porto, more specifically in the parish of Leça da Palmeira, municipality of Matosinhos.

EXPONOR is close to Porto International Airport and is served by a modern road and dual carriage network and efficient public transport.




 How to get to Exponor by bus

The «Sociedade de Transportes Coletivos do Porto» (STCP) operates various bus lines which can be used to access EXPONOR.

- From the airport to EXPONOR: Nr. 601 heading Cordoaria;
- From Campanhã train station to Rotunda da Boavista (Boavista Roundabout): the best is to use Metro do Porto services taking the blue line to «Senhor de Matosinhos»;
- From São Bento train station to Rotunda da Boavista (Boavista Roundabout): Nr. 201;
- From Rotunda da Boavista to EXPONOR: Nr. 601 heading Airport.

 How to get to Exponor by car

EXPONOR is located next to the A28 highway, 5 km North of the city of Porto.

Approaching from the South on Motorway A1
Enter Porto across the Arrabida or Freixo bridges. On the ring road of Porto (Via de Cintura Interna - VCI), take the Francos exit, following signs to Valença, Viana and the Leixões sea harbour. Take the A28 northwards for about 4.5 km until you pass a flyover with the Leixões harbour on your left. Exit immediately after the flyover, following signs to Leça da Palmeira. Follow the signs to EXPONOR.

Approaching from the North on Motorway A3
Immediately after the toll, exit onto the A41 road following signs for Maia and "Aeroporto" (Airport). Continue straight on, driving eastwards, for several kilometres following signs to Matosinhos until you join the A28 road. A further 3 km south you will see the EXPONOR buildings on your right. Take the next exit, following the sign to Leça da Palmeira. Follow the signs to EXPONOR.

 How to get to Exponor by plane

EXPONOR is just 10 minutes away from Francisco Sá Carneiro - Porto International Airport that has frequent flights to the main cities in Europe and America.

Recently Sá Carneiro Airport received an extensive renovation and enlargement works which equiped it to receive 6 million passengers per year, meeting the most modern quality standards in terms of airport services.

 How to get to Exponor by train

EXPONOR is served by the "Porto - Campanhã" and "Porto - São Bento" train stations.

From here you must take a taxi or a bus.

 How to get to Exponor by metro

Porto city is equipped with a light metro system similar to that of Stadtbahn and Prémetro in other European and American cities.

Open to the public in 2002, the network is constantly been enlarged and has now 6 different lines, stretches over 70 km and comprises 81 stations, connecting the centre of Porto to the periphery. In the city centre the metro operates underground and was built from scratch, while in the outskirts it travels on the surface, partially using old railway lines which have been converted for this purpose.


For the time being, EXPONOR is not directly served by any metro line. This is schedule to happen in a later stage, extending the Blue Line that presently ends at «Senhor de Matosinhos», about 3km away from EXPONOR.

At this time, if you wish to use the metro to get to EXPONOR you should take the Blue Line heading to «Senhor de Matosinhos». Here you should take bus nr. 507 for Exponor.

 How to get to Exponor by taxi

There are taxi ranks at the airport and the train stations. There is a taxi rank at EXPONOR next to the East Gate.
